About St. Paul Baptist Church
St. Paul Baptist Church is a welcoming community of faith located in Middletown, New York, with roots stretching back to March 1966 when it began as a mission in the home of Rev. and Mrs. James Walker. The church moved to its current home at 94 Cottage Street in 1982 and has grown spiritually, numerically, and financially under the leadership of successive pastors. St. Paul Baptist describes itself as a place where everybody is somebody and God is the father of us all, emphasizing hope, faith, and charity. The congregation supports numerous ministries including the Ambassadors for Christ, Daughters of Zion Women, Diaconate, Fisher's of Men Outreach, King's Men, and Youth for Christ. Under the current leadership of Senior Pastor Rev. Duane McPherson, the church continues its mission with the motto Onward & Upward, serving both its members and the broader Middletown community.
