About Lutheran Church Resurrection
Lutheran Church of the Resurrection is a welcoming faith community located at the corner of Routes 117 and 172 in Mount Kisco, New York, directly across from Northern Westchester Hospital. Over 75 years of ministry have shaped this congregation from its origins as a house-church into an active community dedicated to the Great Commission and Great Commandment. The church focuses on five biblical purposes: worship, evangelism, discipleship, community, and service, with members engaged in both spiritual formation and practical outreach through local food pantries, preschool ministry, and care for those in need. Worship gathers the community together in joyous celebration, strengthened by Scripture to live out Christ's work in the world, and the congregation explicitly welcomes people of all backgrounds, including those from non-Lutheran traditions, those searching spiritually, and those with questions about faith.
