About St Matthew Lutheran Church
St. Matthew Lutheran Church is a welcoming congregation in North Tonawanda, New York, rooted in the Lutheran theological tradition. The church teaches Scripture-centered faith based on Martin Luther's core principles of grace alone, faith alone, and Scripture alone, holding to the canonical books of the Old and New Testament and the Book of Concord. The congregation gathers for worship on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM, followed by Sunday School from 10:30 AM through May. St. Matthew practices the two sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion, emphasizing God's grace and the forgiveness of sins available through Christ. Visitors are invited to join the community in worship and are encouraged to reach out with questions, though office hours are limited.
