About Christ United Methodist Church
Christ United Methodist Church has served Olean since 1836. The congregation describes its mission as “Following Christ, Sharing Love, Serving All,” and also names the United Methodist mission of making disciples for the transformation of the world. Its vision, “Honoring Our Past, Inspiring the Future,” reflects a church shaped by a long local history while continuing to look ahead in ministry. The church describes itself as rooted in faith, united in love, and growing together, and its about page includes a prayer by John Wesley. Children’s ministry is part of the church’s life.
