About Beth AM Temple
Beth Am Temple is a vibrant Reform Jewish congregation established in 1963, located in Pearl River, New York, and serving families throughout Rockland County and Northern Bergen County. The temple describes itself as warm, welcoming, and inclusive, embracing tradition while remaining engaged with the present day. Members participate in weekly Friday night Shabbat services and twice-monthly Saturday morning services, along with celebrations of Jewish festivals and holidays. The congregation maintains an active religious school tailored to individual student needs, offers adult education programs, and engages in community and social action activities. The temple is particularly proud of its Czech Holocaust Torah, which it holds on loan through the Memorial Scrolls Trust, and invites prospective members to visit any service to experience the community firsthand.
