The United Methodist Church of Port Washington has served its community since 1852 as a welcoming congregation open to people of all ages, nations, and races, part of the New York Annual Conference. The church hosts traditional Sunday morning services in the Sanctuary from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Hospitality Hour with coffee and snacks in the Parlor. A nursery is available for infants up to two years old, and Sunday School for children ages 3–17 runs from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Education Office. Under the leadership of Rev. Steven Y.
