About Unitarian Universalist
The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Glens Falls is a welcoming, liberal church community located just south of the Adirondacks in Queensbury, New York. The congregation is diverse in faith, ethnicity, gender, and sexual orientation, united by a desire to make positive change in the world. Services are held Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM both in-person and online via Zoom, featuring a flexible format that draws from many religious and secular traditions. The congregation offers childcare year-round and a religious education program during the school year, with services that typically include music, readings, a sermon or presentation, and a time for sharing joys and concerns. Led by Rev. Viola Abbitt, the congregation is guided by the Seven Principles of Unitarian Universalism and welcomes people of all backgrounds, beliefs, and doubts on their individual spiritual journeys.
