About Church of Christ
Church of Christ in Rochester gathers for Sunday worship at 9:30 AM and Wednesday Bible classes at 7:00 PM. Sunday worship includes singing, Scripture reading, a sermon, communion, songs, and prayer, and usually finishes around 11:00 AM. After a 15-minute break, 45-minute Bible classes are offered for all ages. Children stay with their families during worship, with a nursery and activity packs available for younger children. Staff and volunteers who work with children or teens must pass annual background checks. The church also has Growth Groups and house groups, along with community efforts such as the Northgate Community Garden, local school support, AA meetings, and a food shelf.
