What to Expect as a First-Time Visitor to Grace Road Church in Rochester, NY

Dress Code: At Grace Road Church, you'll find that the dress code is casual and comfortable. Feel free to come as you are - whether that's jeans and a t-shirt or business casual, the most important thing is that you come ready to engage and worship. Many of our regular attendees enjoy dressing up, but the focus is on your heart, not your outfit.

Service Format: Grace Road Church has two Sunday services, at 9am and 11am. Both services follow a similar format, beginning with a time of worship through music, followed by a message from our pastoral team. The services typically last around 75-90 minutes.

During the 11am service, American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation is available for our deaf and hard-of-hearing visitors. This is a great resource if you or someone you're attending with utilizes ASL.

Tips for Visitors: - Arrive a few minutes early to allow time for parking and finding a seat. Our ushers and greeters will be happy to help point you in the right direction. - Feel free to participate in the worship however you're most comfortable - some people sing, raise their hands, or simply listen attentively. - Don't worry about giving during the offering time if you're visiting for the first time. This is for our regular attendees to support the ongoing ministry of the church. - Check out the Welcome Center in the lobby if you have any questions or would like to learn more about getting connected at Grace Road. - Stick around after the service to enjoy complimentary coffee and conversation with our friendly church community.
