About New Life Assembly United
New Life Assembly United is an Apostolic congregation in Rochester with contemporary worship and a history that began in June 1976, when Pastor Spite came to the city to start an apostolic church. The first Sunday gathering had seven adults present in a building formerly used by another congregation. The church describes the person of Jesus Christ as the substance of what it is about. Its ministries include small groups, children’s ministry, and a men’s ministry with practical service and fellowship activities such as remodeling projects, grounds keeping, fund raising, cookouts, a father-and-son retreat, and fishing trips. On Sunday mornings, children ages 6 to 11 are dismissed to Winner’s Club.
