About Park Ridge Free Methodist Church
Park Ridge Free Methodist Church in Rochester, New York is a welcoming faith community that believes Jesus is life and exists to know Jesus and make Him known. The church is located at the corner of Long Pond and Straub Roads and invites visitors to experience their Sunday worship service at 9:30 AM, which features blended worship combining contemporary music and hymns, prayer, fellowship, and biblically rooted sermons. With a commitment to becoming people who heal in holy love, grow as disciples, and are sent in mission, Park Ridge creates a casual environment where visitors are encouraged to come as they are. The church provides numerous resources for families, including a staffed nursery for children from birth to age five and children's bulletins during worship. Beyond Sunday mornings, the church offers Wednesday Family Nights with programming for children, youth, and adults, as well as Bible studies throughout the week.

The church was organized in 1946 under Rev. Roy Goodrich. The current facility at Straub Road and Long Pond Road was dedicated on September 28, 1969.
