Zion Episcopal Church is a small, warm, and active community of Episcopalians located in downtown Rome, New York, across from City Hall. The parish is committed to renewal and growth, rooted in the Episcopal belief that every person is beloved by God and called to serve Christ in all people. Members gather for Eucharist worship each Sunday at 9 a.m., guided by their Baptismal Covenant to proclaim the Good News of Christ, seek justice and peace, and respect the dignity of every human person. Led by The Rev. Emily R. Hyberg, the community strives to structure their life together through service with and to the broader community. Zion welcomes visitors and curious inquiries; those interested in learning more are encouraged to contact the church or speak with the priest directly.
