First Presbyterian Church in Southampton, New York is one of the oldest Presbyterian congregations in America, established in 1640 by English Puritan settlers seeking religious freedom. The church has served the East End of Long Island for nearly four centuries, evolving from its original community meeting house through several structures, with its current beautiful wood gothic building constructed in 1843. Today, the congregation of more than 350 active members provides extensive programs for all ages and remains committed to sharing Christ's love through service to others both locally and globally. The church welcomes all visitors and offers both in-person and virtual worship services on Sunday mornings, along with various ministry opportunities throughout the week.
