Grace Assembly of God in Spring Valley, New York is an Assemblies of God congregation with roots tracing back to 1987, when Rev. Rajan Philip founded the church to serve the growing Malayalee immigrant Christian community in Rockland County. The church began as a small prayer meeting and has since grown to serve around 85 adult members and several children, moving from a church basement to its current dedicated facility in 1992. Grace Assembly maintains a strong commitment to both local worship and global missions, having sponsored approximately 55 ministries worldwide across India, Tanzania, Vietnam, and other nations, while also engaging the youth through programs like Kids to Kingdom (k2K), an active children's and youth ministry. The congregation emphasizes prayer, fellowship, and biblical teaching, creating what members describe as a loving and caring extended family that supports one another spiritually and practically. Services incorporate both Malayalam and English worship to serve both longtime members and the growing younger generation, reflecting the church's inclusive approach to its diverse membership.
