About Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church
Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in Syosset welcomes a diverse congregation to joyful worship centered on the saving grace of Jesus' love. Founded in 1951 with just 65 charter members, the church has grown into an active community offering Sunday worship at 10am featuring traditional liturgy with hymns, prayers, scripture, sermons, and weekly Holy Communion. Beyond worship, Faith provides Sunday School for children in grades preK through 5th, adult Bible studies twice monthly, midweek Lenten services, and confirmation classes for middle school students. The congregation actively serves its community through partnerships with local food pantries, support for global missions, and hosting community groups including Boy Scouts and musical ensembles. With over 50 years of early childhood education through its Nursery School and a welcoming spirit rooted in Lutheran tradition, Faith invites all who seek spiritual growth and Christian fellowship.

Dress Code: You can dress casually. Service Format: Sunday worship at 10am includes songs, prayers, scripture readings, a sermon, and weekly Holy Communion; children in preK-5th grade are dismissed for Sunday School after the children's sermon and return before Communion. Visitor Tips: Ample parking is available on the south side of the church with accessible parking and an elevator on the north side; visitors are welcome to stay after the service for fellowship.
