About Interfaith Works Inc

InterFaith Works, founded in 1976, is a Syracuse-based organization dedicated to affirming the dignity of all people and building bridges of understanding across religious and racial divides. The organization works with diverse faith traditions, including Catholics, Protestants, Jews, Muslims, Sikhs, Buddhists, Mormons, Baha'is, and many others, serving as a united voice on local, national, and international faith-related issues. Beyond interfaith dialogue, InterFaith Works operates multiple programs including the Center for New Americans, which provides resettlement services and support for refugees, the El-Hindi Center for Dialogue & Action, and the Center for Healthy Aging. The organization is deeply committed to racial and religious equity, reflected in its diverse board, staff, and leadership that includes former refugees and immigrants. Visitors and community members are invited to engage with InterFaith Works' mission of creating dialogue on community issues and promoting the diversity of the Syracuse area.
