The program provides couples with an immersive experience focused on five major themes: family background, sacramental marriage, communication, intimacy, and values. Led by married couples who share their lived experiences, the retreat emphasizes personal reflection and couple dialogue rather than classroom-style instruction. Held at peaceful retreat centers in the lower Hudson Valley, the program fulfills marriage preparation requirements for the Archdiocese of New York and other dioceses, and welcomes any engaged couple seeking to prepare for marriage in the Catholic Church.

Dress Code: Casual and comfortable clothing is appropriate for the entire weekend, including Mass. Service Format: The weekend retreat runs from Saturday 9:00 AM through Sunday 4:00 PM, featuring presentations by married couples, individual reflection time with workbooks, private couple dialogue, and Mass. Visitor Tips: Arrive between 8:00–8:30 AM on Saturday; both fiancés must attend the full weekend to receive completion certification; separate sleeping accommodations are provided; the retreat centers maintain smoke-free, alcohol-free environments; limited free time is available as the focus is on couple interaction and relationship preparation.
