About Saint Peter Lutheran Church
Saint Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church is located at 70 Little York Road in Warwick, New York, in the heart of the Black Dirt Region near Pine Island. Founded in 1901 by descendants of Volga-German immigrants who had originally settled in Russia, the congregation carries a rich heritage spanning over a century. As a member of the Lutheran Church of the Missouri Synod, the church welcomes both longtime members and visitors into its family-oriented community. The present church building was erected in 1918 following a fire, with additional fellowship and education spaces added in 1968. Today, the congregation blends multiple generations and backgrounds, united in worship and service through various ministries including a food pantry, ladies aid society, and community outreach initiatives.
