Founded in 1901 by descendants of Volga-German immigrants who had originally settled in Russia, the congregation carries a rich heritage spanning over a century. As a member of the Lutheran Church of the Missouri Synod, the church welcomes both longtime members and visitors into its family-oriented community. The present church building was erected in 1918 following a fire, with additional fellowship and education spaces added in 1968. Today, the congregation blends multiple generations and backgrounds, united in worship and service through various ministries including a food pantry, ladies aid society, and community outreach initiatives.
