About Overcoming Love Ministries
Overcoming Love Ministries is an inter-denominational, multicultural, bilingual congregation serving the communities of Brooklyn and Queens for over thirty years. Founded in 1984, the ministry takes a holistic approach to meeting the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of those seeking assistance. Beyond worship services, OCLM operates extensive community programs including transitional housing facilities, a soup kitchen, and health clinics, alongside youth and women's ministries. The organization is deeply rooted in restoration work with formerly incarcerated individuals, people recovering from substance abuse, and those experiencing homelessness, helping them transition back into the community as productive members of society.
