About St. John Lutheran Church
St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Youngstown, New York welcomes all who seek the Word of God and the love of Jesus Christ. Led by Pastor Bill Wrede in a transitional interim ministry, the congregation gathers each Sunday morning for worship at 11:00, preceded by Bible study for adults at 10:00 and Sunday School for children at 10:15. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first and third Sundays. The church is dedicated to worshiping the Triune God and spreading God's Word throughout the community and world, believing firmly in the inspiration of Scripture. Following worship, members and visitors are invited to share refreshments and conversation in the Fellowship Hall, creating a welcoming environment where both longtime members and newcomers are embraced as part of the Body of Christ.
