About Asheboro Friends Meeting
Asheboro Friends Meeting is a Quaker congregation with deep roots in Randolph County history, having been established in 1913 when Quakers from rural areas moved to town with the coming of the railroad. The church relocated to its current Kivett Street building in 1960 and has continued to grow and expand its facilities and ministries over the decades. Today, AFM serves the community with Sunday services and Sunday School, along with midweek programs for children and youth including Kids Klub and GLOW. The congregation welcomes visitors and invites them to become part of both the church family and the Kingdom of God.
