Southside Baptist Church was founded in 1956 and serves the Biscoe, North Carolina community with a mission to reach others with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The church describes itself as a multi-generational family that loves God, loves each other, and loves their neighbors through ministry throughout surrounding communities. Sunday worship services begin at 11 am and feature traditional and newer hymns combined with expository preaching presented in a relevant, biblically sound manner. The church offers nursery care for children through age 2, Children's Church for ages 3 through kindergarten, and Life Groups for children, youth, and adults. SSBC also hosts midweek classes on Wednesdays at 7 pm for ages 3 and up, along with various fellowship groups for men, women, and senior adults.
