About Gospel Tabernacle
Gospel Tabernacle United Holy Church of America Inc. is a historic congregation in Burlington, North Carolina, with roots tracing back to 1938 when a small group of believers gathered under the direction of the Holy Spirit. Founded by Rev. J.C. Hayes and Mother Lorena Curry, the church has grown from its humble beginnings in a living room to a vibrant community of over two hundred members serving the region. Under the leadership of Bishop Greg Hargrave since 1985, Gospel Tabernacle has expanded significantly, establishing ministries including the Daughters of Destiny, Men of Valor, Youth Ministry, and a robust music and fine arts program featuring multiple choirs and a dance ministry. The church is deeply committed to its mission of evangelizing, edifying, and equipping believers while making Jesus Christ known to the lost. Gospel Tabernacle welcomes visitors to join in worship and connect with various ministries that reflect their gifts and passions.
