St Marks Lutheran Church

Dress Code: Members often dress in a way that reflects the special nature of worship time, though casual clothing such as jeans and running shoes are also acceptable, as the church values modest dress chosen out of love for God rather than strict formality. Service Format: Worship follows a liturgical order that includes confession of sins, announcement of forgiveness, songs of praise, Scripture readings, a sermon, and Holy Communion (celebrated on the first, third, and fifth Sundays); a printed service folder with hymnal references and Scripture passages is provided to help visitors follow along. Visitor Tips: Visitors are not required to stand and be introduced; you may observe without immediate commitment to membership, and offerings are gifts of love from members—visitors are not expected to contribute; large print materials and accessible facilities are available upon request, and the church asks that visitors refrain from communion until speaking with a pastor about the church's close communion practice.
