What to Expect as a First-Time Visitor to New Life Christian Center in Durham, NC

Welcome! We're excited you're considering visiting New Life Christian Center. Here's what you can expect as a first-time guest:

Dress Code At New Life, you'll find people dressed in a wide variety of styles, from casual to more formal. The most important thing is that you come as you are. Feel free to wear whatever makes you comfortable, whether that's jeans and a t-shirt or slacks and a button-down.

Service Format Our Sunday morning service starts at 10am, but we recommend arriving around 9:45am to get settled. The service typically lasts around 1.5 hours and includes uplifting worship music, an inspiring message from the pastor, and time for prayer.

On Tuesdays at 7pm, we have an evening service with a more intimate, discussion-based format. This is a great opportunity to dive deeper into the Word.

Tips for Visitors - Arrive a few minutes early to find a seat and get oriented. Greeters will be available to help you find the sanctuary, children's areas, restrooms, etc.

- Feel free to participate in the worship however you're comfortable - sing along, raise your hands, clap, etc. Or simply observe if you prefer.

- During the offering, you're welcome to give, but don't feel any pressure as a first-time guest. The offering is for our regular attendees.

- After the service, stop by the Welcome Center to introduce yourself. We'd love to meet you, answer any questions, and provide information about getting connected.
