About The Summit Church - Downtown Durham Campus
The Summit Church - Downtown Durham Campus meets at The Carolina Theatre in Durham and is part of The Summit Church, one church meeting in multiple locations around the Triangle. Sunday worship services are offered at 9:00 and 10:45 a.m., with Summit Kids for birth through 4th grade and Middle School Life Groups meeting during the 9:00 a.m. hour. High School WKLY Small Groups meet Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Worship is led by a live band at each campus, and most weekends the lead pastor teaches from the Capital Hills campus with the sermon broadcast to other locations. Rick Langston serves as Executive Pastor of Strategic Initiatives, and Pastor J.D. Greear has led the Summit since 2001.
