About Community of Hope Ministries
Community of Hope Ministries is a Christian nonprofit organization rooted in Garner, North Carolina, dedicated to eliminating barriers to success for at-risk children and families in Southern Wake County. Founded in 2005 through a partnership with First Baptist Church of Garner and sustained by a vision to share the love of Christ while meeting physical and spiritual needs, the ministry has grown from a single federally-funded after-school tutoring program into a comprehensive organization operating nine distinct ministries. These include an after-school program, summer camp, food pantry that distributed over 176,000 meals annually, Jobs for Life program, crisis assistance, home repair services, financial literacy education, and the Garden of Hope. The organization is led by Executive Director Amy White and supported by a dedicated board of directors and staff committed to community service and faith-based transformation.
