About Grace Hill Church
Grace Hill Church is a growing Christian community serving Hillsborough, Chapel Hill, Durham, Efland, and Mebane with a mission to gather people to the Table of Christ to be transformed by His grace, renewed in His truth, and sent on His mission. Affiliated with the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, Grace Hill draws on reformed theological roots while blending contemporary worship songs, hymns, classic creeds, and prayer in a welcoming atmosphere. The church emphasizes both the grace and truth of Jesus Christ and seeks to create a safe space for those exploring faith and community, whether visitors are longtime believers or those with difficult church experiences in their past. Led by Pastor Aaron Carr and a team of elders and deacons, the congregation gathers each Sunday morning for Christ-centered worship that includes intentional times of silence, prayers for local and global needs, and engagement with Scripture. Grace Hill welcomes children as an integral part of the community and offers opportunities for deeper learning through CORE Sunday School classes for all ages after the service.

Service Format: Sunday worship begins at 10:00 am and lasts until about 11:05 am, featuring contemporary worship songs, hymns set to new music, prayer, the Lord's Supper celebrated on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month, Scripture-based sermons, and times of silence for reflection. Children five and younger begin worship with parents before moving to nursery or Pre-K classes after the music and creed, while older children remain in the service with children's bulletins available. Visitor Tips: After the service, visitors are welcome to stay for CORE Sunday School classes (11:15 am to 12:00 pm) to dive deeper into faith and meet the community. The church is located just off US 70A minutes from downtown Hillsborough with easy access to Route 85.
