Chimney Rock Baptist Church has faithfully proclaimed the Gospel of Jesus Christ for over 130 years in Lake Lure, North Carolina. The church offers two distinct worship experiences: a lakeside service held from Easter through October at 9:00 a.m. beside Pool Creek Picnic Park, featuring an informal atmosphere where visitors may sit in chairs, remain in their vehicles, or worship from their boats; and a traditional sanctuary service at 11:00 a.m. year-round, blending timeless hymns with inspiring sermons in a warm, family-friendly environment. Both services are led by Pastor Alex Heafner and welcome all ages. From November through Easter, both services meet inside the church sanctuary at 10:00 a.m. The church emphasizes Gospel proclamation, personal faith in Jesus Christ, and a nurturing community where every heart is cherished.

Service Format: Two worship options available: informal lakeside services (Easter–October, 9:00 a.m.) and traditional sanctuary services (11:00 a.m., or 10:00 a.m. November–Easter), both featuring music, prayer, and Scripture-based messages. Visitor Tips: The lakeside chapel is located at 2724 Memorial Highway beside Pool Creek Picnic Park; the main sanctuary is at 270 Boys Camp Road. Visitors are welcome at either service.
