About Church Community Services
Church Community Services of Scotland County is a faith-based outreach ministry founded in 1989 by local church leaders united with a vision to address critical community needs more effectively together than individually. Operating from its location on South Gill Street in Laurinburg, the organization serves residents through multiple programs including a food bank (open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings), a clothing closet (open Tuesday through Thursday mornings), and financial assistance for those in need. After thirty years of ministry, Church Community Services continues its work through donations and volunteer support from churches, individuals, Sunday school classes, and civic organizations throughout Scotland County. The organization welcomes churches to become members through annual donations and invites individuals to participate in this local outreach ministry.
