About First Baptist Church
First Baptist Church has been engaged in the Lexington community for well over a century. Sunday morning worship is held at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary and is also available by YouTube livestream. The church’s ministries include children’s ministry, youth group, and small groups, along with the Martha Best Children’s Center. Its music ministry begins with preschool children and includes people of all ages, including Senior Adult Singers. The pastor teaches three community Bible studies each week, and the church notes a long pattern of stable pastoral leadership, with only three senior ministers since the Second World War.
