About Boger City Methodist Church

Boger City United Methodist Church, located in Lincolnton, North Carolina, has served its community since its founding as Goodsonville Tabernacle, a mission of the Lincolnton Circuit. The church building was constructed on land generously donated by the Boger and Crawford Manufacturing Company, with a masonry structure completed in 1926 replacing the original wooden structure. As the surrounding community grew and became Boger City in 1936, the church adopted its current name. The congregation continues to expand its facilities, having completed an educational wing in 1971 and a new sanctuary in 1977. Under the current leadership of Pastor Ronnie Roseboro, who joined in July 2021, Boger City United Methodist Church remains dedicated to its mission of being the Church United in Discipleship to Love, Lead and Serve.
