About Boger City Methodist Church
Boger City Methodist Church in Lincolnton began as Goodsonville Tabernacle, a mission of the Lincolnton Circuit. Its first church building was built on land donated by the Boger and Crawford Manufacturing Company, and the first minister appointed was the Rev. J.W. Combs. The church’s facilities later grew with the completion of an educational wing in 1971 and a new sanctuary in April 1977. Pastor Jennifer Hampton joined the church in July 2026. Sunday mornings include Cup of Grace, Sunday School, praise team practice, and the worship service.
