About Greater Life Church
Greater Life Church, located in Matthews, North Carolina, is a spirit-filled congregation with over 90 years of heritage rooted in Pentecostal tradition. The church was formed in 2017 through the merger of Garr Church, founded in 1930 by Dr. A.G. Garr, and Mint Hill Community Church. Greater Life Church operates with a three-fold mission of Open Heavens (vertical relationship with God), Open Hearts (horizontal relationships within the fellowship), and Open Hands (generosity and community outreach). The church welcomes visitors from all backgrounds and invites them to experience a community centered on faith, unity, and spiritual growth.
