St. Paul’s United Methodist in Maxton, North Carolina, is a Methodist congregation with traditional worship. The church traces its beginning to about 1884, when it was first organized as Shoe Heel Mission, and later became St. Paul’s Methodist Church. Its first listed minister was Reverend Daniel May. The current sanctuary was completed in 1906, and an Education Building was added in 1979 with a Fellowship Hall, kitchen, five classrooms, and a parlor. Sunday mornings include Coffee Fellowship at 9:40 AM, Sunday School at 10:00 AM, and Traditional Worship at 11:00 AM.
