About Weddington United Methodist Church
Weddington United Methodist Church’s Monroe Campus is a multi-ethnic, multi-lingual Methodist community in Monroe. Founded in 1907 as Benton Heights United Methodist Church, the campus gathers for Adult Bible Study on Sundays at 1:45 p.m. and bilingual worship in Spanish and English at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Dr. Terry Moore serves as Senior Pastor, and Rev. José Eliezer Fernández serves as Monroe Campus Pastor. Children’s ministry, youth group, and small groups are part of church life, and a Children’s Sunday Program is available during the 3 p.m. service. The campus also offers Homework Help for K–5th grade students on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Service Format: Sunday worship is bilingual in Spanish and English at 3:00 p.m., with a Children’s Sunday Program available during the service. Adult Bible Study meets beforehand at 1:45 p.m. Visitor Tips: Families with children can plan for the Children’s Sunday Program during the 3 p.m. worship service. K–5th grade students may also participate in Homework Help on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
