About Catholic Parish Outreach
Catholic Parish Outreach is a food pantry and assistance program rooted in Catholic social teachings and the corporal works of mercy, serving the hungry and clothing those in need across Wake, Johnston, and Franklin Counties in the Raleigh area. The ministry provides approximately one week of groceries to families once every thirty days, along with maternity and children's clothing for infants through preschool age, diapers, formula, and baby food. Beyond emergency food assistance, Catholic Parish Outreach partners with community organizations to help clients build healthier lives through nutrition education and employment support services. The program welcomes all people regardless of race, ethnicity, or religion, treating each person with the dignity and respect rooted in Catholic faith. Volunteers are invited to join the CPO family through various roles including greeters, food packers, clothing assistants, and warehouse support, making this a community-centered expression of service.
