Stallings Memorial Baptist Church in Salisbury, North Carolina is a friendly, caring family of believers with deep roots in the community, having been established in 1899 as Chestnut Hill Baptist Church and renamed in 1921 to honor its founder and first pastor, Rev. John N. Stallings. The congregation is affiliated with the Rowan Southern Baptist Association, Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, and the Southern Baptist Convention. Members gather for worship and Christian fellowship, united in their belief in worshiping Jesus Christ and in discipleship, mentoring, and reaching out to their community. Stallings offers a variety of ministries including Sunday School, Sunday morning and evening worship, children's and youth programs, music ministry, and community service through their Feed the Need food ministry.
