About The Arbor Church
The Arbor Church in Salisbury traces its roots to 1839, when William Gay deeded three acres of land for worship on this site. Known for many years as Gay’s Chapel, the church was renamed The Arbor in 2016 to reflect its desire to be a shelter of rest and spiritual renewal in the community. Its vision has continued for more than 175 years. Church life includes group Bible studies, small groups, youth group, and special worship services that include community services, homecoming, music-centered services, and youth services.
