Buffalo Presbyterian Church is an historic congregation founded in 1797 by Scottish settlers in Sanford, North Carolina, making it the oldest Presbyterian church in Lee County. The present sanctuary, erected in 1879, features recently renovated hardwood floors, updated lighting, and a new sound system. The church describes itself as a place for people who don't feel like they have a place, welcoming visitors into a vibrant family committed to one another, the community, and the world. With over two centuries of history at this location, Buffalo Presbyterian remains active in numerous ministries and community activities while maintaining its deep spiritual roots.
