About Tryon United Methodist Church
Tryon United Methodist Church has been shining God's light in the Godshaw Hill neighborhood of Tryon for more than 100 years. As a friendly and active Methodist congregation, the church seeks to answer God's call to be Disciples of Christ by sharing the hope, peace, grace, and love of Jesus Christ with neighbors near and far. The church invites visitors to join in worship through prayer, music, Scripture reading, and timely, relevant messages. Members actively engage in ministries including the Comfort Shawl Ministry and serve the spiritual and practical needs of their community. All past worship services are available online through video and audio recordings for those unable to attend in person.
