Baird's Creek Presbyterian Church is a rural Presbyterian congregation in Western Watauga County, near Boone. Founded in 1939, it began as a chapel of First Presbyterian Church of Boone and has served the Vilas area for generations. The congregation’s current church building was first used for worship on the first Sunday in January 1994. Reverend Keith Freeman serves as pastor. Sunday mornings include Morning Worship at 9:00 AM and Adult Sunday School at 10:00 AM. The church also holds special worship services for Ash Wednesday, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
