Evangelistic Church of Deliverance is a non-denominational congregation located in Weldon, North Carolina, founded in 1968 by the late Bishop William H. Cheek, Sr. and his wife, Mother Lucille P. Cheek. The church welcomes people from all walks of life and emphasizes spirit-filled worship services with biblical teaching applicable to everyday living. Beyond Sunday worship, the church is deeply committed to community service and discipleship through ministries including Men's and Women's Ministries, Hospitality Ministry, and Outreach Ministry. The church provides Christian guidance, food and clothing distribution, scholarships, and support for senior citizens.
