About Liberty Church
Liberty Church in Wilmington is a traditional worshiping congregation led by Sr. Pastor Dr. Gene Tilly, who has served at Liberty with his wife, Wanda, for more than 31 years. The church describes its purpose as knowing Jesus and making Him known, with a vision of being disciples of Jesus who help others become His followers. Its teaching is grounded in the Bible as the inspired and inerrant Word of God and the authority for life. Sunday School meets before the worship service, and ministries include children’s ministry, youth group, and small groups.
