About Friedland Moravian Church

Friedland Moravian Church is one of the oldest Moravian congregations in North America, with roots tracing back to 1780 when German Moravian families settled in the Wachovia region of North Carolina seeking refuge from harsh New England winters. As a member of the international Protestant Moravian Church, which has proclaimed the gospel for over five centuries, Friedland emphasizes keeping love at the center of its faith experience. The congregation invites all who are willing to experience a personal relationship with God while building fellowship with others through worship, music, prayer, and service to the broader community. Sunday School is offered for all ages at 10:00 am, followed by traditional worship at 11 am, with services also available via live stream.
