About Rosemont Baptist Church
Rosemont Baptist Church began in 1941 as a mission outreach to the south side of Winston-Salem. Its first worship service in the present Fellowship Hall was held on the first Sunday of May 1946, and the congregation later added its current auditorium in the late 1950s and an Education Building in the early 1970s. Rosemont started as an independent Baptist church and has never joined any conventions or associations. Its history also reflects steady pastoral leadership, with only eight pastors serving the church across more than 72 years.
