About St Paul United Methodist Church
St. Paul United Methodist Church is a historic United Methodist congregation in Winston-Salem with roots beginning in 1871. The church is celebrating 153 years and was the first African American church established in the town of Winston. In 1967, a merger between St. Paul and Mt. Pleasant Methodist formed St. Paul Methodist Church. Led by Pastor Pamela Blackstock, the congregation gathers for blended Sunday worship and Sunday School, and serves local neighbors through a food pantry for community members in need.
