About Western ND Synod Office
The Western North Dakota Synod Office, located in Bismarck, serves as the regional administrative hub for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America across western North Dakota. The synod encompasses 153 congregations with over 51,000 baptized members, along with outdoor ministry sites and campus ministry at Minot State University. Under the leadership of Bishop Craig A. Schweitzer, the synod is committed to encouraging and equipping congregations so that the Good News of Jesus Christ is proclaimed and all God's children feel welcomed and included.
