About First Christian Church
First Christian Church is a welcoming Disciples of Christ congregation located in downtown Bellefontaine, Ohio. The church emphasizes an open and inclusive approach to faith, requiring only a commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior for membership. Weekly communion is central to their worship life, and all are invited to the Lord's Table regardless of membership status. The church values egalitarian relationships, freedom of individual theological exploration, and the ministry of all believers—including women, men, and youth in all phases of church life. First Christian Church is part of a movement rooted in early 1800s American frontier history, guided by the principle of unity based on Christ rather than divisive creeds.
