Lutheran Social Services of Northwestern Ohio (LSSNWO), founded in 1911, is a social service agency rooted in the Lutheran tradition of compassionate care. Operating across 24 counties in Northwestern Ohio and two in Southeastern Michigan, the organization provides mental health counseling, emergency food assistance, substance use addiction counseling, employee assistance programs, and court-ordered services. LSSNWO serves all ages, faiths, races, and economic backgrounds with professional and confidential care provided by licensed clinical counselors, social workers, and chemical dependency counselors. The agency is accredited by the Council on Accreditation and maintains three service locations in Toledo, Fremont, and Tiffin.
