About That Place for Teens
That Place for Teens is a non-denominational Christian youth center located in Brunswick, Ohio, dedicated to serving students in grades 6-12. Founded in 2019, the organization emerged from decades of Youth for Christ's Campus Life program and expanded into a dedicated 3,500 square foot facility to better meet the unique needs of adolescents in the community. The ministry offers free after-school programs, club meetings, community activities, and one-on-one mentoring designed to keep teens engaged while addressing challenges such as insecurity, bullying, anxiety, and the pressures of social media. All adult mentors undergo thorough background checks and training in mandated reporting and appropriate boundaries, making safety a primary priority. Through genuine relationships and a listening presence, the center encourages teens to think critically about their life choices and matters of faith while walking alongside them during these critical years.
